Boat Quote Request
Safe seamanship begins with a properly equipped and maintained vessel. Responsible boating means taking precautions to protect yourself, your passengers, and your boat from potential hazards. Boat insurance provides you protection against the financial hazards of owning and operating your boat.
Basic coverages in most boat policies are:
- Liability: Covers property
damage, bodily injury, which you or a member of your family may
cause to others while operating your boat.
- Medical Expenses: Covers
costs of doctors, hospital and other medical needs of the operator
or others injured aboard your boat. Includes professional nursing,
hearing aids, prosthetic devices, eyeglasses.
Water skier medical coverage may need to be added by endorsement and require a small additional premium.
- Physical Damage: Protects
your boat or one operated by you or your family members against
loss by fire, theft, falling objects, natural disaster, vandalism,
sinking or collision (on land or water).
- Trailer Physical Damage coverage:
Protects your boat trailer or one used by your
family members from losses by fire, theft, vandalism or most other
causes, except mechanical breakdown.
- Unattached Equipment/Personal Property:
Lets you include boat associated equipment and
furnishings for broad coverage protection.
